Jivdhani Mata Temple - a Hindu Goddess is situated atop a hill in Virar- western suburb of Mumbai.She is incarnation of Aadi Shakti . It is believed that during their forest journey, Pandavas came to this place and worshipped Devi Ekaveera on the bank of river Vaitarni.Seeing the serenity and Lofty nature, they carved caves in nearby hills and established Yoga lings of Ekveera Devi and worshipped .They called her Bhagawati Jivadhani - the real wealth of life.After the onset of Kaliyuga and during the times of Jagadguru Shanrachrya, Goddess Jivadhani Devi appeared with her divine features and blessed a Mahar who was grazing cows of nearby villages for a long time with an objective to have darshan of Jivadhani Devi.My wife Rekha Nirshu Singh paid a visit to Mata Jivadhani Devi and offered prayers for well being of entire man kind.
