LordGanesha is highly regarded as the God of wisdom , prosperity and good fortune . He is the ultimate trouble shooter, obstacle remover and therefore, His puja is performed at the outset of any auspicious occasion. The following Sanskrita Shloka tells the very fact:"Vakratundam MahakayaSuryakoti SamprabahaNirvighnakarudevaSarvakaryeshu Sarvada." It goes without saying that India - that is Bharat is predominantly a land of Sanatan Dharma and therefore, religious rituals and its strict observance is way of our daily life. It is there in our routine and culture that we don't put a drop of water in our mouth the morning without completing our routined Puja. Festivals and its celebration in Sanatan Dharma culture is everyday, every month and year over over. However, some major festivals have a great place in our Hinduism and Ganpati Puja is one of them.Every year in the month of August or September, Ganpati Puja is celebrated on Ganesh Chaturthi which spans over a period of 10 days and comes to an end on Anant Chaturdasi. This year in 2020, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 22nd August and Anant Chaturdashi on 1st September with Visarjan . This festival is most popular festival in India. We pray Lord Ganesha to tide over the current crisis of COVID -19 and bless the people of all over the world to live in peace along with prosperity, good health, fortune and excellence in their field. We have been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi over the years at my Mumbai and #Bhikhampur, District - Siwan residences simultaneously . Glimpses of Ganpati Visarjan of 2019 in nearby Talao after 5 days puja at my Mumbai residence along with my wife # RekhaNirshuSingh.
